First Day of School

So today was my first day of a new school. Yaaaaaay...! I don't mean like I just transferred here I mean like it was the start of a new school for me, ex. start of middle school, high school e.t.c. I can tell you it wasn't college though...  It was okay. I had major navigation issues but I got to meet some new friends and chat with my old ones. I actually had two announcements for today and I really am super sorry for this but I'm changing my blog name. I'm leaving the URL the same otherwise it would be super confusing and I guess you want to know what the name will be right? I named it Lily's Notebook. Yay! I'm so happy

Okay so I entered Emma's writing contest like I told you all earlier and I was very surprised- and pleased- that I won! There were quite a few spacing errors... but I had a lot of fun writing it and it is kind of like a special edition to the fantasy sort-of story I am working on called Six Girls; One Crown. I think I'm talking about that story way too much on this blog...

Baby cousin

Today my aunt gave birth to her baby and now I have new cousin, a girl! I am very happy about this because this is my first girl cousin. Believe it or not all 8 of my cousins are boys, not anymore!

Okay so a blog that I have been reading is having a giveaway (I seriously do not know how they deliver the prizes to you) but I was curious so I entered it. The blog is called Diary of a beautiful Soul and I hope you read it.

Changed

I changed the look of my blog and updated it (finally). I hope you like how it looks now and the new pictures I added on the side. I'm sure a few of you noticed that I have a new blog called Cookies and Cashmere which is all about cooking and fashion. I hope y'all like it because I've been working on it and pondering over the name and design and stuff. I originally wanted to go with the name Cupcakes and Cashmere but it was taken. Now I've had a sudden thought and now I'm wondering maybe if I should've named it Cupcakes and Couture instead of Cookies and Cashmere. What do y'all think?

Okay so the big picture you see above is actually a picture of the tallest trees in the forest behind my house. Yup, I'm a country girl. Its all surrounded by nature here and I love every part about it except the fact we're about an hour away from all the excitement. I went with my family to this cute little town for a "educational family trip" and it was so much fun!

I got an iPhone!

I finally got an iPhone, which I have been asking for forever. I used to have a textng phone but it was made in like 2002 and couldn't do anything except call. Now I know I sound like one of those bratty teenagers but I'm just stating the truth.

Play

Okay so I decided I didn't have anything to do lately so I decided to write a play. The neighborhood kids got a hold of it and decided they wanted to perform it so I held auditions and everything. It's a very "kid-friendly" play and would probably best entertain eight or nine year olds, but its very fun. It is about three girls whom are also spies that enroll into a boarding school as a mission to find out what the evil headmistress is planning. Like I said, very kid-friendly play.

Not much going on

Hey all. I've been super busy this past week so I haven't had the chance to blog much. First off my grandparents are visiting and they live far away so we've been spending some time with them. Sadly though ever since they've been here I haven't been able to watch a single show on t.v. I know this is rude and selfish of me but seriously, how can the news be so exciting. Plus the Olympics are on!
Anyway there hasn't been much going on since then, oh besides the fact that we went to the mall about five times (one out of five times we bought my clothes, four out of five times my grandparents bought souvenirs.) and some new kids moved in down the street.
