25 Days!

Oh my gosh! 25 days until the newest Mother-Daughter Book Club book comes out! *Squeal!* Wish You Were Eyre sounds so stinking good plus Heather Vogel Frederick posted on her blog not one but TWO sneak peeks and I've gotta say those two chapters were the best cliff hangers of ALL time! I can barely control myself I want to read it SOOOO bad!!!

Oh and one more announcement. For those of you who have read my "The Little Things" post, I will now be doing that hopefully every Monday from now on. The first... paragraph I guess will be the good little things and the second one will be the not so good things. Those will be on all week not just that day. Thanks!

Do y'all want an excerpt? An excerpt on my newest story, Determined (or possibly a different title, I'm still pondering over it) which is written as if Ella is writing in her diary. I'll take all critiques and comments (and compliments LOL) but seriously I won't be offended if you give me a few pointers!



September 10th

     My English teacher told me to start off my first diary journal entry by introducing myself as if I;m talking to a real person. But since Mrs.Crotitz is the one who is making me write in this journal in the first place I'm not going to. So ha!
     When I told my mom about this she was thrilled.
"I knew I was making the right choice when I signed you up for that after school book club, Ella!"she had exclaimed.
   I can't do this on top of everything else I do! Dancing, ice skating, school and now this stupid book club. Thanks Mom,thanks a lot. This is so not how I wanted to start the school year.

Diary

I've decided to write that story, Determined as if Ella is writing in her diary. I think it'll be more fun that way I got inspired by the Princess Diaries. I love those books now. Only problem is I didn't notice but the books I checked out from that series were 1, 3,4,7,and 9. LOL.
 You know when you have like 10 story ideas in your head but you can't put them all down on paper and you don't want to be working on 10 stories at once. If you have that problem, so do I. I have so many good (well, I think so) ideas but totally different genres AND I don't have that many empty notebooks at the time.

School Election

So on Monday we have an election to decide who is going to be the school president, vice president, parliamentarian, recording secretary, e.t.c. And our school's grades are divided into 3 teams. For 6th/9th (first grade of a new school) grade it is students are in either A, B, or C team and so on. Anyway each team has a representative for the student council and my friend, Josie is running for _ team rep. So today I helped her make posters to advertise her campaign. It was quite fun but I got glitter all over me. :P

Sadly I didn't get into vocal ensemble but I guess I wasn't really expecting to. Most of the ___ th graders who got in were really really good though so I couldn't really have hoped to get in. My good friend Ella made it in so good job for her!

Today I had the pleasure to take Ella, a character from my latest story, Determined, out to this cute little cafe just outside town. After we sat down and ordered some soup and sandwiches, I got right down to business firing off questions to her. I scribbled her answers into my notebook, here it is.

Howrse

I'm on this game, I guess, called Howrse and its purpose is to breed horses and sell them and stuff but mostly I just play it for interacting with friends and RPGing and sharing stories and stuff. Its really fun and I LOVE it! I also like helping younger players on Howrse by giving them equus (which is money on the game) and horses and such. I'm on there as SuperSuzy, because I made the account back in fourth grade or something when I started playing for the fun of horses and such and didn't want my real name out there so I used my sister's name.... He he, weird I know but whatever and I don't feel like starting over and making a new account. Anyway here's some pictures of the game and my account!
