So here's what happened on my second favorite holiday (Christmas is my favorite but after writing this I'm suddenly thinking that Thanksgiving might be my favorite now...). We had a big party and I think there were around 13 adults and 9 kids, they were all younger than me but one of my best friends came also. It was a bunch of fun even though me and my best friend ended up babysitting most of them. I live right next to an elementary school, which is kind of annoying sometimes, so we all went to the school playground and we all ran around and played and stuff and after, we played some Wii, which was quite fun actually even though that might seem really lame plus it got everybody entertained, and finally after all that we sat down and stuffed our faces into our Thanksgiving feast. Oh, and after that we watched a movie and played cards.
You know those friends that seem like your little brothers and sisters? Hopefully you know what I'm talking about but these two kids who came are like the little brother and little sister I never had. The boy is just a year younger than me and the girl is just starting 2nd grade, she's super adorable. Anyway my point is that yesterday was awesome and that it was even more amazing because it felt more like a family reunion and not a party. Hope you all had a very happy Turkey Day!
XOXO Lily
Cool, sounds like fun! Thanksgiving over at my house was pretty fun (I just sat around playing the Lyric Game with my sister and two of our friends), until the football game ended. Then the boys, with nothing to do, got really aggressive and started beating each other up, and....yeah. Time to go put my basement back together :P.
ReplyDeleteHave fun! lol
ReplyDeleteHey Lily,
ReplyDeleteI read somewhere that you aren't a Christian. Would you mind telling what faith you area part of?
Um... where did you read that?
DeleteI don't know. Maybe it wasn't you. Still curious though.
